She was an entrepreneur, baker, full-time homemaker, and raised nine children. She was actively involved with the Catholic Church in prayers and sponsorship. She was a fashionista who loved dancing, listening to music, cooking, playing mahjong, and video games.
She is preceded in death by her husband Antonio V. Castillo Sr. and son, Antonio R. Castillo Jr.
She is survived by her children Vicente, Danilo, Grace, Frances, Leelin, Leila, Mark and Anna, thirteen grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank everyone for the care and compassion shown to our Beloved Erlinda in her final days.
Active pallbearers will be Vicente Castillo, Danilo Castillo, Rei Umali, Jeremy Castillo, Erik Kratz, Jason Guevara, Kevin Castillo, and Mark Francis Castillo.
A public viewing will be held at the Chapel of Eternal Peace at Forest Park, located at 2454 S Dairy Ashford, Houston, TX 77077, on July 24, 2025, from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm.
Visitation will take place at the same venue on July 25, 2025, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm.
The funeral mass is scheduled for July 25, 2025, at 1:30 pm at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, located at 1801 Sage Rd, Houston, TX 77001.
The committal service will follow at 3:00 pm at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery, 12800 Westheimer Rd, Houston, TX 77077.
