

He loved football(Texans) and golf. Ernesto met his beloved wife Annette Garcia in 1968, they were just kids and friends. Years went by and in 1989 they began courting and fell in love. They were married on September 27, 1990 and have been happily married ever since, they were together for 35 years.
He’s been a loving father to three children Rudy Ramirez Jr (Tina Ramirez), Annette Ramirez, (Jonathan Cruz), Darlene Ramirez (Manuel Hernandez) and has taught them a lot about life. He’s protected them and love them ever since he married their mom Annette Garcia.
He also loved and raised seven Grandchildren Alexandria (Reyna) (baby Ari), (Baby) Manuel Jr, Alexis (Lupe), Isaiah, Alizae Ramirez, Alyzah Cerda, and Cecilia Hernandez. These grandchildren and children love and cherished their grandpa.
He was carpenter/bricklayer all his working years and retired to be a chef and cater to his wife Annette. After retiring he had a very successful catering company and made lots of BBQ and Mexican food.
He was a devoted son and brother to his seven siblings Martha Rodriguez, Albert Rodriguez, Norma Gonzales, John Gonzales, Cynthia Garcia, Roy Garcia, Rachel Garcia, Mark Garcia, Kristi Lee Sims, and many nieces and nephews.
Ernesto loved to barbecue for his family at every holiday and weekend event. He regularly babysat his grandchildren, he loved taking them to Kemah, arcades, and any bounce house they wanted to go to.
He is predeceased in death by his father, Manuel Garcia Sr and mother Martha Garcia, he spent all of his years loving them and caring for them. He was the best son one could ever have. He was a great and loving brother-in-law to Rudy Bonoan and Vincent Bonoan, whom he was also great friends with since 1968 when they first met. As Ernesto got older, he cared for his in-laws in their older years Amado and Linda Gutierrez.
He was the best man, husband, brother, and grandpa in the whole world. He will be missed and loved forever.

A visitation for Ernesto will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel, 901 Main, Pasadena, TX 77506, with a prayer service from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
