Evelyn Laston Wise, 63, born to the parents of Charlie A. Latson, Sr. and Elneta Stephen Latson, was the third child as well as the youngest daughter. Evelyn accepted Christ at an early age and served the Lord faithfully until God called her unto himself at E. 37th COGIC, now known as Salt Mine Ministries, under the pastorate of Dr. Merdice brown, ThD. Evelyn departed this life on Wednesay, January 18, 2012. She is preceded by her father, Charlie A. Latson, Sr., and brothers Charlie A.Laston, Jr. and George R. Latson. Her memory will forever be cherished by her children: Andre' Wise & wife Renetta; Alan Wise and Angela Wise. Her mother Elneta; one sister Charlene Green; five brothers: Mack, Joseph, Harold, Anthony, Keith and Edward. Nine grandchildren; one great-granddaughter and a host of other relatives and friends. Service for Ms. Wise will be held on Friday, January 27, 2012, beginning at 11AM, in the Garden of Hope Chapel of Paradise Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Paradise North Cemetery.
