

Fay Lee Olle Rossler Hankins died January 9, 2021 at age 93 from complications of Dementia. She was born October 17, 1927 in Yoakum, Texas to Manila and Alfred Olle and later moved to San Antonio, Texas where she graduated from St. Mary Academy in 1945. She was president of the Drum and Bugle Corp as well as the Glee Club. In 1945 she married Willis K. Rossler and moved to Houston, Texas. She worked for the Rossler Barber Supply company which was the family owned business for many years. Later she worked for Ranger Insurance as a secretary. They were married for 33 years. She later married L. H. Hankins in 1983 and upon her retirement they moved to Edinburg, Texas and raised Charolais cattle. She moved to Pleasanton, Texas in 1999 where she raised donkeys with her significant other Ed Oldert. She enjoyed bowling, dancing, gardening and RV’ing. She was born and raised in the Catholic faith and later attended the First United Methodist Church in Pleasanton, Texas.
She had three children Willis K. Rossler Jr., Steven W. Rossler and Donna F. Rossler. She is survived by her son Steven W. Rossler and wife Lenna, six grandchildren, Nancy Ewing and husband B.J., Deborah Rossler, Ryan Rossler and wife Jenna, Steven Rossler, Jr. and wife Kristen, Eric Rossler and wife Jessica and Kevin Rossler and wife Audrey. She has seven great grandchildren, Gideon, Porter, Piper, Paisley, Wyatt, Julianne and Declan.
She is preceded in death by her first husband, Willis K. Rossler (1978), her second husband L. H. Hankins (1989) and her significant other Ed Oldert (2015) as well as her daughter Donna (1994) and son Willis (2005).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
