I still don't have the words. The front porch on Easy Street will never be the same. Camping at Garner. Holidays. You were a great man. A shining example of what God wanted a father and grandfather to be. We we're blessed to have you as our patriarch. I'm going to miss you with all of my heart.

Dad, I miss you already, you were and still are the best Dad ever. I ‘m thankful to GOD that he took you quickly and peacefully. You worked 3 jobs to support us but you still made time for us when you got home you would bring donuts and milk. I once saw you give a stranger a plate of food you said he probably got off the train. You were a little worried when I was going to have Talia but she turned out to be one of your greatest joys in life as were all your grandkids. Your with Father GOD now in the safest place you can be, still watching over Gilbert. RIP my forever Dad.

Grandpa, you are so different from anyone else. You are simple, humble, strong, brave, and so loving. I’m going to miss us raking the leaves and I’m going to miss listening to all of your navy stories. I’m going to miss us watching the Price is Right at ten and you reminding me to eat and save my money all the time. You were the perfect man to grow up looking up to and you and grandma are the perfect example of a happy and healthy marriage. Both of your love rained down on the whole family, and have made us the people that we all are today. God comes to the earth to pick flowers every once in a while and you were one of the prettiest. I love you to God and back, Talia. 

Tio, thank you for being so good to me and Vic and my kids. We really loved talking to you, even though we didn't do it enough.  You were so interesting. You had a wonderful partner for life, and you two were an inspiration to all of us. We will all miss you and Gilbert dearly. Say hi to my dad and mom and siblings. I'm so so sorry I will not arrive in time for your send off into Heaven, but I will be there in spirit. With all our love,

When I was a kid, I thought Fidel was my uncle, therefore I called him Uncle for many years.  I just thought he was the most handsome man and Meme, so beautiful. They just matched so well! He seemed so quiet yet, with his stature, you could feel his presence. Striking! His kindness, his soft spokeness, and his gentle smile, are what I'll always remember.

Dad loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren so much!

My Dad was the best man I have ever known. Our hearts are broken and we will miss him so much but God promises we will see him again. Thank you for all the beautiful memories Daddy, I love you so much. 

Fly high tio Fidel..🕊 I will always remember your kind heart and you always calling me by middle name Margarita since I was a young girl.That was special to my heart.You will be missed at our Family Reuions..until we meet again.R. I.P 🙏

He was an amazing dad and I thank God for him.  I feel blessed he was and always will be my dad. We will miss his for the rest of our lives and wait for the day we meet again.

Thank you Grandpa for all of the wonderful memories.  Words can't express how you've shaped my life.  I'll cherish you and remember you always.  Until we meet again.
