He met Maria O. Gonzalez in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, they later married on August 26, 1965. Francisco had a career in Metal Fabrication at NSM Industries for 35 years, from which he then retired. He was a member of the Emmanuel Church and was a devoted Christian. He had a passion for spending time with his family and above all, being able to cook for them.
He is preceded in death by brothers, Alvaro Gonzalez and Pasqual Gonzalez; sisters, Carmen Gonzalez, and Modesta Vasquez.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria O. Gonzalez; beloved son, Ismael Gonzalez; beloved daughter, Janie Masias; son in-law, Mike Masias; daughter in-law, Sarah Gonzalez; and grandchildren, Nathan Masias, Ethan Masias, Jacob I. Gonzalez, Alethea Masias, Aletha Masias, Mia I. Gonzalez, and Arianna Masias.
