Frank Pena Guajardo was born on October 10, 1917 in Devine, TX and left to join his sons in Heaven on November, 28, 2011 in Houston, TX. Frank was raised in Devine, TX until the age of 23, when he joined the US Army in 1940. He served in the 12th Calvary Division F Troop, proudly defending our country during WW II. After being honorably discharged in 1945, he met and married his wife of 61 years, Bertha. Together they had 6 children who brought him great joy and through the guidance of he and his wife became very successful. He was preceeded in death by his three loving sons, Frank Jr., Humberto "Bert" and Jose Guajardo. He is survived by his greatest love, Bertha V. Guajardo; his children, Rosalinda Galvan, David and Mary Olga Thompson and Samuel and Maria Guajardo; 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A Rosary Service will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2011, 7 pm at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 1, 2011, 2 pm in the Chapel of Forest Park Westheimer.
