Gary Glenn Cagle

Gary Glenn Cagle, age 72, of 178 Hargraves Rd. Huffman, Texas 77336 passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024. He was born in Orange County, California on January 8, 1952 to parents Celmer Dennis Cagle and Connie Mattebelle Wallace.

Gary graduated from Humble High School, and met the love of his life Peggy Cagle in Houston, Texas. They later married on April 12, 1976. Gary was a very proud United States Marine, who later continued on to have a career in construction at Excel for 35 years.

Our dad had a very big heart- if you needed him he would drop everything to help. He enjoyed being outdoors camping, fishing, and hunting. He loved spending quality time with his family, and was an amazing father, and husband to our mother Peggy. We will always carry your memory within our hearts until we see you again.

He is preceded in death by his beloved sons, Elijah Cagle and Gary Cagle Jr.

Left to cherish his memory are, daughter, Michelle Lune and Melody McNew.

A visitation for Gary will be held Sunday, June 16, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A funeral service will occur Monday, June 17, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. A committal service will occur Monday, June 17, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at External Service Location, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, Texas 77038.
