

Gene A. Jackson Pradia was born on May 5, 1963, to the union of Clarence and Gennivie Jackson. He was the oldest of four kids. Ricky was born in Houston, Texas and graduated from Madison High School. Among his many talents he loved to sing and was a part of a singing group in the early 80s. Ricky was an awesome cook and was a head chef. He also catered special events and ran a restaurant.
He is preceded in death by his father, Clarence Jackson; grandmother, aunt, uncles and cousins.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Katrina Dotson; mother, Gennivie Jackson; children, Tawana Smith (Terence), Shaniece Pradia, Ricky Pradia, Alexzia Dotson Pradia, Kory Pradia and Jaylen Pradia; three grandchildren, Terenei and Téylin Smith, Chaleb Pradia; brothers, David Jackson (Eurina), James Jackson (Melissa); sister, Laginia Jones (Allen) and a host of nieces, nephews, auntie, cousins and friends.
Ricky will be remembered as a man that truly loved his family. He was a genuine, loving and hardworking man that wanted nothing but the best for all of us. He loved hard and without limits. He was a selfless man that will be greatly missed by family and friends.
