Pulikkaparambil Thomas George was born on August 31, 1927 to P. V. Thomas and Saramma Thomas in Thrissur, India. After his graduation, he started his job as a teacher in C. M. S. High School, Thrissur. He later became the headmaster of the school and continued to touch the lives of countless students.
During his tenure, C. M. S High School consistently achieved 100% pass rates in the SSLC exams. He and Aleyamma Joseph were married on December 28, 1958 and were blessed with three wonderful children: Binoy, Biju, and Binu.
After his retirement, he moved to Houston, Texas, with his eldest son, Binoy in 1991. He enjoyed spending time with his family in the U.S. and in India.
P.T. George, or “Daddy,” as his family lovingly calls him was an endearing individual; a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend. His generosity, kindness, and intelligence were an inspiration to his family and those around him.
Daddy always had a positive outlook on life even in the midst of the most difficult situations. He was very personable and always entertaining. His conversations were filled with lively stories, and you would always leave having learned something. He was a simple man that enjoyed the simple things in life.
He is survived by his loving wife, Aleyamma George; his brother, P.T. Johnson; his children, George Binoy, Biju George, Binu George; daughters-in-law, Mercy Binoy, Sobha Biju, and Animole Binu; his grandchildren, Brian Mon, Bincy Mol, Linda Mol, Lenita Mol, Leema Mol, and Sneha Mol.
He was preceded by his siblings, P.T. Mathew, P.T. Mamachen, P.T. Thamby, Leelamani Isaac, and P.T. Josemon.
Daddy was called home to heaven on February 21, 2015. It is difficult to see beyond the sorrow, but Daddy will live on in our hearts forever, bringing us comfort in the days to come. He left his footprints in our hearts for all of us to remember.
“We know for certain that we never lose the people we love, even to death. They continue to participate in every act, thought and decision we make. Their love leaves an indelible imprint in our memories. We find comfort in knowing that our lives have been enriched by having shared their love.”
