Geraldine "Nanny" Teague Sheffield

Geraldine is preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband John Henry Sheffield and her parents Earl and Zola Teague. She is survived by her daughter Judy and her husband Ronnie Kristynik of Houston, TX with whom she happily lived and spent the last four years of her life. She is also survived by her two sons and their wives, Johnny and Becky Sheffield of Fayetteville, TX and Jimmy and Debbie Sheffield of Tenaha, TX; Grandchildren, Matt and Shawna Sheffield, Sean Sheffield, Cammy Sheffield and Keith Kunkel, Rhonda and Matt Lindholm, Renee and Jordan Festner; Great-grandchildren, Hailey Sheffield, Brandon Sheffield, Reagan Sheffield, Logan Sheffield, Raylea Kunkel, Elliott and Cameron Lindholm; as well as her best pal, Keith Kristynik, her grand-dogs and numerous nieces and nephews.

Everyone knew Geraldine as “Nanny”. She will be remembered by her loving family for being the best cook in the world, her impeccable memory, her wonderful stories and her delightful sense of humor. More than anything, she loved and cherished her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also loved making beautiful quilts, working on them even until the day she passed away. Comfort is found in knowing she is now reunited with the love of her life. Nanny will be forever be missed.

Visitation with Geraldine will be held Sunday, February 9, 2014 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM; Funeral Service to celebrate Geraldine’s life will be held Monday, February 10, 2014 at 10:00 AM, both at Pat H. Foley & Company funeral home, located at 1200 West 34th Street, Houston, TX 77018. Private burial to follow.
