Gisella Jamilosa

Jamilosa,Gisella Rios went to be with the Lord on October 8th, 2014. Born March 12, 1965 in Q.C. Philippines. She is preceded in death by parents Godofredo and Elena Rios and Brother Gerald. Survived by husband Dennis and children Justine, and Josh and step-children Jackie and Jordan and step-grandchildren Melanie, Makayla, and Nestor, siblings; Glenn, Geoffrey, Gilbert Rios, and Gwendolyn Borromeo and nieces and nephews. Visitation: Sunday, October 12 from 2-8 pm Forest Park Westheimer 12800 Westheimer Rd. Houston, TX 77077.Mass: Monday, October 13, 10 am with hour viewing prior at St. Justin Martyr on 13350 Ashford Point Dr., Houston, TX 77082. Celebration following Mass. Interment will follow at 1 pm.

Giselle went to St. Mary's College in her elementary and high school years. She was the class president during her senior year of high school. She studied nursing at St. Luke's College of Nursing and graduated Cum Laude in 1986. She worked for Ben Taub Hospital for more than 5 years and spent the last 16 years working for Texas Children's Hospital.

She liked to travel and meet up with friends on alumni get togethers as much as she could. She made sure that she found time to spend with her family and went on vacations every year with them. She was an avid fan of Dancing With The Stars, The Voice, America's Got Talent and American Idol reality shows. Her passion was taking pictures, which she insured were all cataloged by year and events within the year.

She was a remarkable wife, mother, nurse, sister and friend. We love her so dearly and she will be truly missed.
