Lam Phong Nguyen, 76, of Houston, Texas passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2013. He was born on August 27, 1936 in Mong Cai, Vietnam. Lam was the dear husband of Hang Thi Le and devoted father of Lan T. H. , Linh N., Huyen N., Vu P., Duyen L., Loan T. H., Dung N., and Hieu C. He is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and one younger sister.
Lam enjoyed gardening, poetry, cooking, history, and the outdoors. His family and friends were his lifetime joy and devotion. His love and encouragement to his family were endless and unwavering. Lam adored little children because their presence always brought him unfailing delight. He was a quiet man but his actions spoke volumes to all those around him, similar to his patron saint St. Joseph.
