She was born on January 18, 1925 in Woodville, Texas to Rose Alice and James Robert Geldard. She married Julius J. (Jinks) Wiggins in 1946 and they shared their lives for almost 40 years until his death in 1985.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; her brothers, Roy and Max Geldard, and her only sister, Estelle Hatton.
Ceil is survived by children Paul Jinks Wiggins, Lori Wiggins Etchison (husband Steve), and Jennifer Wiggins Barrs; grandchildren John, Ave, and Timothy (wife Rachel) Wiggins; Justin Etchison (wife Allison); Amanda Etchison (fiancé Rodney Leonhardt); great-grandchildren Leah Rose, Johnathan, Garrett, Tanner, James and Daeja Kai.
A closed-casket visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00pm on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at Brookside Funeral Home – Cypress Creek, 9149 Highway 6 North.
A brief graveside service will take place at 2:00pm on Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at Memorial Oaks Cemetery, 13001 Katy Freeway(@ Eldridge), where she will finally be at peace alongside her beloved Jinks.
