Gloria Vargas

Gloria Vargas, 59, of Houston, Texas passed into eternal life on April 2, 2017. She was born in Houston, Texas on December 15, 1957. Gloria married Gustavo Vargas, Sr. on August 26, 1989. She had a passion for loving and caring for family. Gloria is preceded in death by her parents, Marshall and Santo Ramirez, siblings; sisters, Mary Andrade, Hortencia Vargas and brother, Alex Ramirez and her son, Roland Vargas. Left to cherish her memories are husband Gustavo Vargas, Sr.; children: Sylvia Martinez, Danny Villanueva, Gustavo Vargas, Jr., Marissa Davila; grandchildren: Stephanie, Steve Jr., Brianna, Leanna, Jaden, Natalie, Evan, Xavian, Aviana; siblings: Margie Cervantes, Julie Cervantes, Freddy Ramirez, Betty Hernandez.

Services will be held at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039. Family will receive extended family and friends for visitation Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 12- 8 p.m. and Friday, April 7, 2017 from 12 - 8 p.m. A rosary will be recited on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 6 p.m. The funeral mass will be at St. Gregory the Great Church, 10500 Nold Drive, Houston, Texas at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2017 with the interment following at Brookside Memorial Park.
