Guadalupe Garcia

Lupe, as she was commonly called, was born in Waco, TX on March 13, 1934. Lupe and Raymond Garcia were married for 71 years.

Lupe will be remembered by her family and friends as a woman of faith, loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Although Lupe was never employed or able to drive, she was always caring for the children that were in her life. Lupe was dedicated to the Lord and served faithfully at Templo Jerusalem Assembly of God Church in South Houston, TX.

Preceding Lupe in death is her husband Raymundo M. Garcia, her parents Jose Valles, Ignacia Sanchez Mejia, and step-father Guadalupe Mejia. Also, preceding her are her two sisters: Ramona Chapa and Margaret Caballero and her two brothers: Jose Valles Jr. and Benito Valles.

Surviving Lupe are her daughters, Elizabeth G. Trujillo and her spouse Agustin Trujillo Jr. and Valery M. Garcia. She also has her sons, Anthony R. Garcia, his spouse Sophia Garcia, son John A. Garcia and step-son, Raymond Garcia Jr. and his spouse Gloria Garcia. Lupe had 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
