Guadalupe Manzano

Guadalupe Manzano, affectionately known as “Papa Lupe,” was born in Guanajuato, Mexico and raised in Matamoros, Mexico by his loving parents, María de Carmen Manzano and Seferino Manzano, who preceded him in his heavenly graduation.

He was a devoted husband to María Luisa Manzano for 69 wonderful years. Together, they built a strong, loving family and were blessed with nine children: Miguel, Antonio, Carlos, María Guadalupe, Verónica, Javier, Leticia, Roberto, and Marisa.

He was a cherished father-in-law (“Suegro”) to Juana, San Juana, and Antonio III, and proudly known as “Abuelo” to 19 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

Papa Lupe was a hardworking, kind-hearted man whose love and dedication helped shape the beautiful, expansive family we are so grateful to be a part of today. His legacy lives on in each of us.

We thank you for joining us in honoring and celebrating the 91 remarkable years of life we were blessed to share with our beloved Papa Lupe. His memory will forever be held close in our hearts.

A visitation for Guadalupe will be held Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 4136 BROADWAY ST, HOUSTON, TX 77087. A religious ceremony will occur Wednesday, June 18, 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM, 4136 BROADWAY ST, HOUSTON, TX 77087. A funeral service will occur Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, 4136 BROADWAY ST, HOUSTON, TX 77087. A committal service will occur Thursday, June 19, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, 4136 BROADWAY ST, HOUSTON, TX 77087.
