Guadalupe G. Rodriguez, age 80, of Houston, Texas, passed away on November 27, 2025. She was born on July 3, 1945, in Houston, Texas, to Guadalupe Gonzales and Olga Rangel Gonzales. On December 30, 1968, Guadalupe married the love of her life, Raymond V. Rodriguez. She spent most of her life in Houston’s 2nd Ward community and worked various jobs before retiring. Guadalupe was devoted to her family and cherished every moment with them.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her son, Bennie Rodriguez, and brother Carlos Gonzales. Guadalupe is survived by her husband, Raymond V. Rodriguez; her children Brenda Cruz, Elizabeth Starns, and Mark Rodriguez; three grandchildren, Alvaro Giraldo Jr., Crystal Malone, and Nicholas Starns; seven great-grandchildren, Caleigh, Juel, Christopher, Anailee, Zion, Ivy, and Hayden; and two siblings, Maria Villa and Mario Gonzales.
Guadalupe will be remembered for her strength, love, and unwavering dedication to her family.
A visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, located at 2516 Navigation Blvd, Houston, TX 77003, on December 8, 2025, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am.
A chapel service will follow at the same venue from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm.
The committal service will take place at Houston National Cemetery, located at 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, TX 77038, on December 8, 2025, at 1:15 pm.
