Guzman M. Herrera, Jr., son of proud parents Guzman Herrera, Sr. and Natalia Martinez. The sun rose on his angelic face on August 13, 1945 in Glenn Flora, Texas and his sun set on September 9, 2010 in Houston, Texas. Mr. Herrera worked and retired from the city of Houston with the waste water department.Guzman is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, LaDean Woodard; children: Elisa Herrera (Abliene, TX), Guzman Herrera, III (Channelview, TX), Matthew and wife Rosemary Herrera (Channelview, TX), La Tessa Herrera (DeWitt, Iowa). 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 41 nieces and nephews; brothers: Pascaul Herrera (Sugarland, TX) and George Herrera (Houston, TX); sisters: Mary Garcia (Ft. Worth, TX), Emily Gutierrez (Houston, TX), and Delores Herrera (Houston, TX), along with other loving relatives and friends.
