Harla Mae Grubbs

Harla Mae Grubbs, “Mimi” age 79, of Katy, Texas passed away on Thursday, November 16th, 2023 surrounded by family. Harla was born in San Antonio July 28th, 1944 to the parents of Olete Mathisen “Memaw” and Harold Horton. She went to heaven to be with husband Paul Grubbs “Papa” who passed away April 1st, 2018. She is survived by son Kyle Grubbs with wife Alison and children Kayla and Kenzie. Daughter Kym Williamson and sons Kollin, Kirk and Konnor with fiancé Amy Harris. She is also survived by her sister Delane Rheindardt and nieces and nephews Traci Schneider, Derek Pittman, and Brandi and Wesley Rheinhardt.

Harla had a very strong faith in her church, Church of Christ of Cinco Ranch. She enjoyed bible studies with the church over the years. Mimi loved her family and every holiday. She especially loved Christmas and always shopped for the perfect gift for everyone. She enjoyed crafting, spending time with her grandchildren and eating out at all of her favorite restaurants.

She will be greatly missed by all family and friends. We will all treasure the memories we had with her.
