

Harriett met and married Marvin Hall on November 29, 1958; to this union two children were born, Clifford and Cynthia. She graduated from Booker T. Washington H.S. and gained employment with Henke (Kroger), as well as Baroid and Hughes Tool. She later gained employment with the U. S. Postal Service where she served dutifully for twenty-eight years before retiring in 2006 due to health issues.
Harriett accepted Christ at an early age. She joined Homestead Missionary Baptist Church in 1973 under the leadership of Pastor R. A. Williams. Later, she joined and served as a faithful member of the Greater True Light Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend T.O. Berry as a devoted usher.
Harriett was preceded in death by her brother, Wanda Hardy; aunt/mother, Mary Jones; and her cousin, Beaulah Harper. She leaves to cherish her memories; one daughter, Cynthia Hall; one son, Clifford Hall (Swader) of Houston, TX; four grandchildren, Erica Hall, Clifford Hall, Quinesha Pyles, and Christina Eveline; eight great-grandchildren, Lamar Guidry, Mia Lewis, Savion Hall, Trelyn Hall, Serenity-Rain Pierson, Angel Hall, Lee McDowell III, Laila Bogany, and a host of friends.
