Harry August Burttschell, born December 29, 1944 was called home to his heavenly father on February 16, 2016. He was a lifelong resident of Houston, Texas. As a young man he served in the Marine Corp, rode bulls, and played the harmonica. One of Harry’s joys in life was entertaining for an audience and putting smiles on people’s faces. He was often a featured guest at the Alvin & Grapevine Opry’s.
Harry is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Barbara Burttschell; sons, Kevin Burttschell and Heath Burttschell; daughter, Kristine Whitaker and grandchildren Bauer and Brynn Burttschell.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 19, 2016 at 11:00am at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 5000 W. Tidwell Road, Houston, Texas 77091.
