Harvey Joseph Fitzpatrick passed away peacefully at home on April 12, 2016. Educated at Isidore Newman School, Tulane University and Colorado School of Mines, Harvey spent his entire work life in the oil field: first as an engineer for The California Company (now Chevron), then V.P. of Oil & Gas Futures and lastly as the owner of Q.E.D. Inc., Petroleum Consultants. He honorably served his country as a USMC Captain during WW II and the Korean War. Harvey was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.
Harvey is survived by his wife, Susan Williams Fitzpatrick, his children, Harvey J. Fitzpatrick, Jr. (Kathy), Deborah F. Ladstaetter (Mike), Delilah F. Royce (John), Tarah F. Taylor (Clinton), Stephan T. Fitzpatrick, Henry C. Foust III (Gretchen) and Elizabeth F. York (Edward), 26 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A celebration of Harvey’s life will be held in the summer with family and friends.
