Helen was born in Tyler, Texas and moved to Houston in her childhood. She enjoyed a successful career as one of the first female executives with Superior Oil /Exxon Mobil, retiring after 38 years. Helen and Clarence (Sleepy) were married for 58 wonderful years. During this time they traveled the world extensively, and enjoyed dining with their many friends. They also enjoyed their friends at Holly Hall Retirement center, living there for approximately 20 years.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Clarence (Sleepy) Hickman, her father Perl Watson, mother Vera Watson, brother Maurice Watson, sister Juanita Richards, and brother in-law, Lewis Richards. She is survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
