Helen & Bob were married for 70 years. After their wedding, they moved to Houston.
Her family loved her as mother and grandmother. Most of all, Helen was a homemaker, gardener, and gourmet cook. Her home was welcoming, interesting and relaxing, furnished with books of all kinds with paintings by Aunts and Uncles. Then there was the bay house near Palacios, Texas for fishing and fun.
Helen’s grandchildren loved her Sunday dinners. From the kitchen they could see the vegetable garden and Granny’s unusual plants. Then they smelled the aromas of roast and vegetables from the garden. Helen was a gourmet cook.
Helen and Bob traveled to many countries. They went to a Wild Life Preserve in Kenya, Africa.
They spent a week in England as guests at a country estate and toured Greece with Bill & Shirley.
