Henry Banks graduated from Carverdale High School in 1965. He worked for CyFair Independent School District for over 30 years and he retired in 2008 but he always enjoyed cutting grass.
On Saturday, August 15, 2020, Henry went to be with his Heavenly Father.
Preceded in death by his father James Banks S.R., his mother Ollie Banks, his wife Rose Elma Banks, his brothers James Banks J.R., Essex Banks, Bob Banks.
Survived by his three sons Charles D. (Charlyn) Banks S.R., Terrance “LaRon” (Camina) Thomas, Terrell “Ladon” (Trina) Thomas, and Tristan (Cortney) Thomas S.R. His grandchildren Charles “CJ” Banks J.R., Kedeja “Lil Lady” Banks, Myles Thomas, Quentin Thomas, Nicholas Thomas, Tristian Thomas J.R., Christian Thomas, Gideon Thomas, and Simeon Thomas. His great granddaughter Samiyah Mims. His siblings Walter (Betty)Banks S.R., Milton Banks, Dan Banks, Lonnie (Trina)Banks, Gladys Broady, Catherine Walker, and Ollie Banks. Many hosts of nieces and nephews, family, and friends.
