Hermilo is survived by his son Gerardo Garcia (Michelle Garcia); his daughter Karina Canales (Jimmy Canales); and his son Hermilo Garcia Jr (Terry Garcia); his granddaughter Jocelyn Melendez, his grandson Gerardo Garcia, his grandson Adrian Garcia, his grandson Aidan Garcia, his granddaughter Karina Canales, his grandson Saul Canales, his granddaughter Nayeli Canales, his grandson Jimmy Canales Jr, his granddaughter Jazlene Canales, his granddaughter Renee Garcia, his grandson Lazaro Garcia, his granddaughter Gabriella Garcia, his great-granddaughter Kayliana Rodriguez and his great-grandson Royce Rodriguez.

Hermilo was preceded in death by his spouse Maria Garcia; his daughter Norma Garcia.
