

Helen Ruth “Holly” Musemeche was born to parents Eugene and Eleanor Capehart on the 15th of September 1941, in Marietta, Ohio, and passed away in Houston on Tuesday, the 19th of October 2021. She was 80 years of age.
The family moved to Houston when Holly was five years old where she would remain the rest of her life.
Holly graduated from Milby High School in 1959. She married Gene Oliver soon after and was married to him for 25 years. Holly and Bob met at Deady Junior High but their lives took different paths. They reacquainted later in life and their love story began.
Holly truly enjoyed life, making friends with complete strangers and traveling the world with the love of her life Bob.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and her older sister Carol Patterson. Her survivors include her husband of 33 years, Bob Musemeche; daughters, Debra Haymaker and Donna Moore; her sister, Julie Mills and her husband Tracy; her sons by marriage, Robert Musemeche and his partner Catherine Keller, Mark and Laura Musemeche and Todd and Katrina Musemeche; her grandchildren, Lindsey Alexander and her husband Todd, Kristin Nathan and her husband Kyle, Megan and Katie Musemeche, Bella, Sofia, Lily Musemeche, Nicholas “Nico” Musemeche and Michael Moore; her great-grandson, Colt; and, her beloved dog Lucy.
A memorial service celebrating her life is to be conducted at eleven o’clock in the morning on Wednesday, the 27th of October, in the Jasek Chapel of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston, where the Rev. Cliff Ritter, Pastor of Caring Ministries at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, will officiate.
Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception in the adjacent grand foyer.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that you go out and bless someone this week. Holly was a giver of her time and asked questions to those she knew or even complete strangers. Honor Holly this week by being kind to someone else.
