Jack will be lovingly remembered as a dedicated, hardworking family man whose goal in life was to be the best husband and dad he could be. As the most loving and devoted husband and the most present and supportive father, he far exceeded his goal! He was indeed the best husband, father, Paw Paw, brother, uncle, and friend God could have given his loved ones.
Jack was a big goofball who loved to have fun and make his friends and family laugh! He was a genuine, good-hearted man who would give and do anything in his means to help anyone who needed him. He showed his love by showing up to support, help, and cheer on his family and friends in every possible way! He enjoyed fishing, playing pool, barbecuing a mean brisket, watching almost every show on TV, and playing cards with his family and friends. His wife was his world, his family was his proudest accomplishment, and he specialized in bringing humor to even the most mundane moments.
Jack was gifted at everything he set his heart to do! He spent his career working as a Sheeting Department Supervisor and a Quality Control Supervisor to provide a wonderful life for his family. He was well known for his work ethic and dedication to excellence in all he did.
Jack made his mark anywhere he chose to invest his time and talents. He coached baseball at Parkwood National Little League for many years where he also served as the President of the Board, leaving everything he was entrusted with better than he found it. Jack was also a resident of Sequoia Estates for 31 years and was an active member of the community. He served as the President of the Civic Association a number of years before his passing. He was a strong pillar of the community and everyone knew his heart to make a difference in his neighborhood. He was best known for being the beloved Santa for many years at the neighborhood Christmas parties and for hosting all the community events and contests throughout the years. Jack made a difference in countless lives!
He loved and served Jesus as his Lord and Savior, and he is now in Heaven with Him for eternity! When God called Jack home, he was reunited with his beloved mother, Amye Edna Borel Price, his brother and best friend, Joe Price, and his father-in-law, Bertram Banta.
He is dearly missed by the love of his life and wife of 32 years, Evelyn B. Price; son, Jeremy W. Leeth and his wife, Melissa Leeth; daughter, Ashley S. Allen and her husband, Eric Allen; sister, Judy Hughes and her husband, Richard Hughes; brother, Jimmy Price; brother and sister-in-law, Bert and Linda Banta; brother and sister-in-law, Ben and Missy Banta; sister-in-law, Marian E.
