Jacob Derek Royce

He was born on March 11, 2008 in Houston, Texas. Jacob was a great son and the best brother and uncle anyone could ask for. He was funny, loved to dance and listen to music, and always made people laugh with his sarcasm.

He loved sports and was a LSU and NOLA Saints fan. Of all the things he loved, he loved his family the most.

He was survived by his father, Roland Royce, his mother Sonia Ponce, great grandparents Teodolo and Amanda Ponce, grandparents Lucio and Consuelo Gonzalez, siblings Joe Angel Royce, Keivon Strain, Roland Royce, Jr., Savannah Royce, Joseph Ponce, Issac Royce and Camila Taylor. He is also survived by his nieces and nephew, Averie Royce, Gavin Royce and Natalia Royce.

A visitation for Jacob will be held Friday, November 3, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077. A visitation will occur Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 12-2pm with a funeral service to follow from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077. A committal service will occur Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Forest Park Westheimer Cemetery.
