

JACQUELINE EHLERS GOSS, wife of John C. Goss, and daughter of the late H. J. Ehlers, M. D. and Emy Ehlers, passed away peacefully on the 14th of August 2010, at her home with her family, daughters, Alice M. Goss, Suzanne E. Goss, Jacqueline Ehlers Cathriner and husband William W. Cathriner; and granddaughters, Anne Cathriner and Virginia Cathriner.
She is also survived by her sister, Suzanne Parker, and her husband A. Wesley Parker; niece, Emy Johnson; nephew, Jack Parker; and many close friends.
A graduate of The University of Texas in Austin in 1951, she also attended Hollins College (now University) and graduated from the Kinkaid School. Mrs. Goss was a past member of the Junior League of Houston, River Oaks Country Club, Hay Harbor Club in Fishers Island, New York, several garden clubs, Antique Study Club, and Pi Beta Phi Sorority. Her greatest interest was her home and her family, having lived in Houston all of her life.
Friends are cordially invited to gather with the family and share remembrances from six until eight o'clock in the evening on Monday, the 16th of August, at Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.
A Memorial Mass is to be offered at two o'clock in the afternoon on Tuesday, the 17th of August, at St. Anne Catholic Church, 2140 Westheimer Road in Houston, where the Rev. Tom Mileaux, is to serve as celebrant.
