

James "Jim" H. Morgan, 89, passed away at home on April 17, 2014. Jim was born in Childress, Texas, where he graduated from Childress High School and attended Texas Tech. He served in the 8th Air Force, stationed in England, where he flew missions over Germany during World War II.
A long time Houston resident, Jim was in the insurance business for many years. Most recently, he was involved in sales and service of office equipment. Jim was an avid pilot and golfer; he enjoyed playing at the El Dorado Country Club.
Jim was a loving husband, father, wonderful grandfather and uncle. Jim had a great sense of humor and was known as a fun jokester, even when the jokes were on him. Jim was married to the love of his life, Linda, for 38 years.
Jim is survived by his wife, Linda; son, Dell Morgan; daughters, Nanci Boyd and her husband Lee, Melissa Boyd and her husband Scot, and Kathi Blackburn; 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and many other relatives and dear friends.
The family would like to express a special thank you to Jim’s caregiver, Tracey Walker.
The family will receive friends and family for visitation on April 26, 2014 at 11am, with Memorial Service following at 12pm, at Pat H. Foley & Co.
