James Eli Levy, age 71, was born on July 11, 1941 in Monroe, Indiana, and passed peacefully on February 7, 2013, in Houston, Texas. James worked on his family farm growing up and spent most of his adult life working in the air conditioning and refrigeration business. He was a high school graduate and a member of 211 Pipefitters Association. James enjoyed playing golf, fishing and hunting. Family, friends and his co-workers were very special to him. He was preceded in death by his father, Manes Levy. James is survived by his wife of 48 years, Carolyn Louise Levy; mother, Helen Levy; son, Lincoln James Levy, his wife Raquel and their daughter Lauren Elizabeth Levy, who was his pride and Joy; sister, Linda Teusch and brother, Bill Levy. A special thank you to: MLN Co., Way Engineering Co., EMDEE Co., Johnson Supply and all of his co-workers and service technicians who worked for him. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Society on behalf of the family, and James steadfast support to Raquel Levy throughout her recovery. The Levy family will provide details upon request. There will be a memorial service held in the main chapel of Forest Park Westheimer, at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 18th, 2013.
