James Sidney McGinnis, 62, passed away on October 8, 2011. He was born February 25, 1949. Sidney was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather that will be missed by everyone that knew him. Sidney worked for 30 years in the Texas Medical Center with various hospitals in the field of material management. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his family.
Sidney was preceded in death by both of his parent and his son, Casey McGinnis.
He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Elma McGinnis; children, Tracy Jaramillo and husband Louis, Priscilla Godines, Patricia Tejeda and husband Fernando and Pamela Gagot and husband Tulio; four grandchildren; sister, Marsha Keathley and husband Danny; along with several nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, October 9, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Brookside Funeral Home - Cypress Creek, 9149 Hwy 6 North, Houston, Texas 77095, 281-345-6061. A funeral service will be conducted at Brookside Funeral Home – Cypress Creek, on Monday, October 10, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Memorial Oaks Cemetery
