

James was preceded in death by his parents, James E. Moore and Theresa Knall Moore, as well as his sons, Greg A. Moore and James R. Moore Jr.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Camille Lambert Moore, and his loving daughter, Angela Moore Tindol, along with her husband, Matt Tindol. He was a proud grandfather to Greg A. Moore, Bryce A. Tindol and his wife Jasmine Tindol, and granddaughter Tabitha Tindol.
James is also survived by his siblings: Tim and Joyce Moore, Danny and Audrey Moore, Steve and Marsha Moore, Ricky and Robin Moore, and his sister Pattie and Hubert Stumner. He will be deeply missed by his extended family and countless friends.
James dedicated his life to serving and connecting with others. He was a police officer for the Biloxi Police Department before pursuing his passion for music as the frontman for the band Moby and the Whalers, performing alongside his son Jamie. Later, he built a successful career as a salesman with Stewart & Stevenson, where he worked for over 25 years.
A man of deep faith, James was a devout Catholic and a true believer in Christ. His love, wisdom, and unwavering faith will continue to inspire those who knew him.
A service will be held at Brookside Funeral Home - Cypress Creek on March 1st at 1:00 PM, followed by a reception at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Heart Association in his honor.
James’ legacy of love, music, and faith will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
