

Jim worked for Texaco Credit Card Center from 1966 to 1997. He took a sabbatical and attended Western State University in Fullerton, California and received his law degree. He passed both the California and Washington, DC Bars, and received his Texas Law License in June 1983.
Giving back to the community was important to Jim, and he did so as a member of the World Affairs Council of Houston, Junior League, Houston Property Rights Association, Texaco Houston Credit Union, and an investment club. He volunteered and served on the Grand Jury for several years.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Charles and Henry, and his sister Anna. In addition to Jim’s large family of friends, he is survived by his sister, Theresa Fiumecaldo. He was a loving uncle to Pam and Frank Fiumecaldo, Sr. and John Fiumecaldo. He was a great uncle to Frank, Sr.’s children, Frankie, Daniel and his wife Katie, and Kristen. He was great-great uncle to Nathan and Benjamin.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening on Thursday, the 31st of January, in the library and grand foyer of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston, where the recitation of the holy rosary is to commence in the library at six o’clock.
A Latin Funeral Mass is to be offered at half past ten o'clock in the morning on Friday, the 1st of February, at The Church of Annunciation, 1618 Texas Street in Houston. Immediately following, all are invited to greet the family during a reception at a venue to be announced during the service.
