James "Jazz" Walter Vinson, 69, passed away on May 9, 2023, in Houston, TX. Born on August 10, 1953, in Omaha, NE, Jim was a country boy at heart. He proudly served his country in the Army from 1971-1974 and did a tour in Korea.
Jim loved motorcycles, skulls, and rock and roll. He was a fan of Guns & Roses and enjoyed riding his Harley. Jim was a proud Army veteran and will be remembered for his love of his country and his passion for motorcycles.
Jim is survived by his wife, Debra Vinson, his son Michael Worley, and daughters Crystal and Angelia Worley. He was a loving grandfather to Lia, Violet, Marshall, Alayanna, Annabelle, Evan, Liley, Lexi, Dana, Lovely, and Maggie and a great-granddaughter Eliana.
He was also survived by his sister, Lavina Kilmer (Gene), Randy Vinson (Sue), and Billy Cardin (Kala) and predeceased by brother, Lloyd Alan Cardin.
Services will be held at the Houston National Cemetery for Tuesday, May 30th at 12:30pm. All family and friends are asked to meet in lane 1 at Houston National beginning at 12:15pm.
