Jan Darlene Barnett Moriarity, of La Marque, Texas, was born on May 26, 1956, and passed away on August 2, 2018.

She was born in Houston, Texas, received her Associates Degree in Business Administration from Galveston College, and had a passion for arts, crafts, and sewing.

Jan is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Moriarity; her father, Virgil L. Barnett; and her grandparents, Ed and Pearl Montgomery.

She is survived by her mother, Alma Farley; a son, Michael Moriarity and wife Alice; two granddaughters, Glynna Moriarity, and Kayla Moriarity; siblings, Donald Dillard and wife Brenda, Roger Frederick and wife Diane, Terry Barnett and wife Sandra, and Sheryl Davis; and numerous other family members and friends.

A memorial service for Jan will be held at 10:00am on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Brookside Funeral Home, 13747 Eastex Freeway, Houston, Texas 77039.
