She graduated Nursing School from Sisters of Charity in Buffalo, New York. On August 18, 1956, Janice married Robert Bergman. A daughter Elaine was born to this union.
Janice worked in Nursing in Tulsa, Oklahoma until she moved to Texas in 1973, where she continued her work, for Memorial Herman Memorial City for 29 Years and made many lifelong friends. She enjoyed her Beach House in Galveston, Texas, Needlepoint, and playing cards with her friends.
She is proceeded in Death by her parents, and Husband Robert.
Left to cherish Janice’s memories, is her daughter, Elaine Phelps, son in law Blake; grandsons Steven & Eric; great grandson, Kameron.
An incredibly special thanks to Shirley Lester and Gary Taylor for all their help, also to Chris Botto and his staff at Botto’s Residential Care.
She will be missed.
