

Jared graduated from both Lamar High School and Texas State Technical College with a lineman degree. In high school, he was the FFA Historian as well as a Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Scholarship Recipient. Jared was also a licensed welder. He worked as a ranch hand, doing what he loved, including welding and interacting with livestock. Jared enjoyed fishing and hunting with friends and family his entire life. Jared was a loving son, brother, fiancé, and friend, and never failed to make those around him smile.
He was proceeded by both grandfathers and a great uncle. Jared is survived by his parents, siblings Jessica Ann Hoffman and Jake Dalton Hoffman, fiancé Crystal Gamez, grandmothers, several loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A funeral service for Jared will be held Monday, October 31, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Grand Parkway Baptist Church, 12000 FM 1464, Richmond, TX 77407. Following the funeral service will be a committal service 12:00 PM at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077.
