His family will fondly remember him as a man who was always there for them, ready to lend a hand or share a laugh. His outgoing personality coupled with his gift of gab made him a familiar and well-loved figure in his community. He had the unique ability to never meet a stranger, always finding a common ground, turning new acquaintances into life-long friends. Jay was a man of many talents, but one of his most impressive was his ability to fix anything. An understanding of how things worked, coupled with a tireless work ethic made him the go-to person for any repairs. His departure leaves a void that can never be filled, but the memories he created will continue to bring joy and comfort to those he left behind.
Jay knew, without a doubt, that Jesus died for him – if he’d been the only man ever born, Jesus would have died for him. John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten SON, that whosoever believed in Him (the Son), that they should have everlasting life.”
