

Jayson was born to Stephen Booth and Daisy Sledge on June 17, 1959 in Kilgore, Texas. After high school, Jayson served his country in the United States Marine Corps. After his service, Jayson worked as a computer programmer, dance instructor, event planner, and attorney.
After graduating from the University of Houston Law Center, Jayson started his own law firm. As a distinguished attorney, he was known for his sharp legal mind and unwavering dedication to justice. Throughout Jayson’s career, he passionately advocated for the rights of his clients, earning the respect of peers and the gratitude of those he served.
Beyond the courtroom, Jayson’s heart found its greatest joy in the presence of his children and grandchildren. He was a pillar of support, showering them with unconditional love and imparting valuable life lessons. His face would light up with pride as he watched them grow, celebrating their achievements and offering guidance.
Jayson and his beloved wife, Annette, shared a love that inspired all who knew them. They loved traveling the world together. Jayson was an avid scuba diver, and he loved to tell stories of his vacations. His final adventure found him diving the Great Barrier Reef, a lifelong dream of his.
Survivors include his wife, Annette Peltier of Houston; children Justyn Booth and Holli Hartman of Houston; Cameron and Heather Booth of Cleburne; Sean Booth and Robin Durbin of Tulsa; Gina Elkins and Joel Quevedo of Houston; Mandi Carter of Houston; and 16 grandchildren.
