He served in the United States Navy in World War Two in the Pacific. He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and will be sorely missed.
He was predeceased by his wife of 50 years MaryJane George. He is survived by daughter Meryl Zimmerman and husband Robert, Susie Jackson and husband Mike, grandchildren Suzie Zimmerman Wood and husband Ken, Jeffery Zimmerman, Amy Jackson Murphy and husband Lane, Kelly Jackson McShan and husband Cody and Krissy Jackson Gorrichategui and husband Carlos. He is also survived by his three great granddaughters Harper, Hazel and Heidi Murphy and his is great nephew George Otstott. He is also survived by his special friend Jo Clapp. We would also like to thank the staff of Silverado Memory Care-Cypresswood for their loving care during his stay there.
