Susi was born on February 16, 1948 in Los Angeles, California.
Susi grew up in Baker, Louisiana with her parents and two siblings. Susi graduated from Baker High School.
Susi was blessed with a son; Gregg Hogsett, from her first marriage and a daughter; Traci Chernosky, from her second marriage. In 1998 she married Steve and they made their home in Las Vegas. In 2004 Susi and Steve moved back to Texas.
After many years of working Harris County Susi retired form the Harris County Tax Office in January 2015.
Susi was known as "Tootie" to her 5 grandchildren and her two great grandchildren. She loved her family and enjoyed any time that she was able to spend with them. The one thing that she looked forward to every year was Rock Port; that was her "Happy Place."
