No matter how much time passes you will always be missed.  When you left you took a part of my heart.  I take comfort in knowing you are enjoying yourself with your Mom she  was always special in your heart.  Know that you are missed friend and always Loved.

Miss you old pal #goastros

I met Jerry when Rubicon bought Logan. I was based in Tulsa, but formed a bond with him, that lasted.  We always texted each other on holidays, birthdays, and throughout the year. I was so sad to hear he was in the ER on his birthday, this year, and prayed he would be able to go home.  I am sad that he will never be able to answer my texts, and that he is not here to talk to any more. Jerry was the best! I loved his sarcasm, and his face when others weren’t making sense when they were talking. If you know that face, you know. He will be missed! Prayers to all the family, that you find comfort in this time of grief. 

Thank you to Jerry’s family for giving us the opportunity to say We will see you again to our Beloved Friend, co-worker, co-brother our mentor, our guidance counselor, our funny sarcastic (that only he could do) our special Jerry. Although he is not with us physically he is with us in our hearts. He took a piece of our hearts with him and knowing Jerry he will take good care of each one of them (as long as they are individually wrapped), seriously when we see him again that piece of our hearts would have grown 100 fold by  the love he placed on them all in the Jerry way.  We love you Jerry and we will see you again.  With all our Love Dear Dear friend rest and enjoy being with the Love of your life—-your MOM 

I had the pleasure of knowing Jerry since 2010, he was my first customer in the Texas, Oil and Gas Industry. 

Over the years, we became very good friends and I always enjoyed coming to town to meet with Jerry and discuss business opportunities, but more importantly to catch up with what was going on his life and to discuss sports. 

We shared a mutual passion for the Astros and Rockets and I was fortunate enough to attend quite a few games with him. 

You will be greatly missed Jerry, rest easy and we will catch up on the other side! 🙏🏼 

To my brother Jerry, 

We have had such a strong brother and sister bond, and I feel absolutely lost without you. I know that while you are gone, you will always be near me.  I will always love you, and I will miss you more than words can ever describe. You are my best friend, mentor and confidant. Your laughter, giggles, sarcasm and love will always be engraved in my heart, which is something I will always cherish.

Everyone who knew you, knew there was noone like you.  You were the sweetest soul that always put everyone ahead of yourself. I have the deepest respect and admiration for you, brother. You have succeeded in your accomplishments,  but most of all, you have stayed genuine and a young man at heart. Your devotion to help Mom, and all of us, is a blessing that we will all thank you for. I am devastated you will not be a part of my daily life, but it gives me great comfort to know you are with Mama, God and at peace. I am proud to have had you as a brother, and even more proud to say, I'm your sister. I cant thank you enough for all the love, support and laughter you have given me.

Some policyholders are especially memorable to insurance agents, as Jerry for me for  over 20 years.  I remember fondly how special his family members were and how he really cared for them, especially his Mother.  He was absolutely over the moon when he moved to his apartment and I told him my daughter lived at the same address (Go Astros)!  I will send a charitable donation to the Alzheimer’s Association in his honor.  Sweet sleep dear Jerry.

This is by far the hardest thing I’ve had to do. It is impossible to describe what a great man my brother was in just a few words. If you knew him you were blessed. He made so many sacrifices to take care of others and put himself second because that’s who he was. He was just teenager when he helped raise me, took me with him everywhere and made sure I had what I needed for school.  We would laugh about when he took me to Six Flags in Dallas when he was 18  yrs old and got mad because I didn’t eat all my food because it was very expensive! He would say, how do you remember that?! I told him because that was uncommon. I thank him for all the guidance and advice he gave me.  He was very loyal, smart, compassionate, dedicated, pleasure being with and had a big heart and so much more. He started working very young and was dedicated to his career. I am happy he enjoyed his sports, travelled and surrounded by friends & coworkers who cared about him. He will be missed greatly as a brother, uncle and friend. My heart weighs very heavy and I will always miss his genuine hugs. 

Rest peacefully brother, you  will always be in my heart. I love you so much.  

I will always remember Jerry as a good friend. He laughingly referred to me as "sister" Karen and I called him brother Jerry. He helped me learn to navigate JDE, helped me in our travels (Brazil in particular) and always had that dry sense of humor I loved. He will be missed beyond measure. 

Where to start that’s hard . He has been my friend 38 years . Sometimes we didn’t see each other for a year but when we did it was laughs and his sarcastic remarks but I knew he loved me . We have Been Los Angeles together on vacation and New Orleans together. We always had fun and it was real . He helped me  start my company and he was my first customer. I was so proud of him and his achievements. I guess he felt he had to always take care of me and bring me along but what he didn’t know was the appreciation I had for what he did for me . I remember he was at my house and he was in the bathroom and the cat was pawing under the door and he kept saying someone’s in here .   I will miss you my friend there will never be another person I trusted and admired like you . I love you 

I met Jerry when my mom started working at Bowen on Irvington, I was just a kid, but even then I could tell he was special. I remember saying hi and bye to him when I would pick my mom up from work. He always had this smirk or smile in his case.    Fast forward to years later and we are working together at Air Center, I learned so much from Jerry, how to never quit and not back down. He helped me get through my first important meeting which I bombed, and still told me "you did good"  and helped me to prepare for more meetings after that. I always ran to him for help and guidance and support because I looked up to him even when we were not working together anymore.  Jerry helped me grow in my career and I'll always be thankful and grateful for that.  My favorite side of Jerry was his goofy side., the laughter and the jokes and he would always call me goober lol.  Rodeo cook-off was my favorite time with Jerry, we always had a blast. We didn't get to enjoy cook-off these last years but I promise, this year I'm taking you with me.  I will miss you so much my friend. 

I had the privilege to work and travel the world with Jerry for many years, and learned so much from him. From Canada, Singapore, Indonesia, Vietnam, and eventually Brazil...he was a part of my "family on the road" when we were traveling, occasionally for months at a time. There are endless travel memories that will not be forgotten. He was a go-getter, with a can do/must do attitude, and had an impeccable resiliency despite obstacles or challenges. I could always count on him. I will remember your humor, candidness, lightheartedness, and love for Houston sports. You will be missed, friend.

Where to begin...There are so many amazing memories, so much laughter shared throughout the years.  I always loved how you would walk in my office and say, "Hey soul sister!"  Our trip to Brazil was both exhausting and hilarious.  We always seemed to find the humor in the worst situations. I will always remember I had to have Twix and KitKats for you, as well as tissues because your allergies were so bad.  I was looking forward to our Astros game, which I promise to still go. 
You were a great friend and mentor, even when you were having a bad day. There will never be another Jerry.  💜🦸‍♂️ 

When you first moved into Purchasing they had a small small desk for you, you would constantly bump your knees on it plus it was in a corner next to the copier. Every time the copier would start you will get the heat from it at that time there were 4 clerks in there all printing.  You would yell at me your doing that on purpose.  You made up your mind way back then no one was ever going to put you in a corner again.  You kept to your promise you excelled and never looked back. No one could keep up with you Module Man. 

Jerry Flores was a loyal son to my sister Florinda, and he dedicated His life to caring for her as a widow. May it be your consolation to find in God above STRENGTH in His understanding, and Comfort in His Love, and may Jerry rest in the peace, which only Jesus Christ gives. Jerry is a child of God, as we all are. We all shall miss Jerry and remember Him for who He was, so may the perpetual light of Jesus Christ shine upon Jerry C. Flores on the last day of resurrection into everlasting life in Heaven.
