Jesus Chaires, 77 of Houston, Texas was born in Mexico to Eusebio and Amalia (Martinez) Chaires and passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023. He was the best husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, a hard worker, responsible and respectable. He loved animals and was a good Christian man.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Ana Maria Chaires; son, Jesus Chaires Jr and daughter, Ana Arely Chaires and husband, Arthur; 5 grandchildren, Irving Ramirez, Olimpia Chaires, Kimberly Ramirez, Kevin Ramirez and Lia Hailey Resendez; 2 great-grandchildren, Emiliano Levezma and Liam Chaires; brother, Nazario Chaires and sister, Vizenta Chaires along with other family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his 2 brothers, Victoriano Chaires, Francisco Chaires and sister, Julia Chaires.

A visitation for Jesus will be held Wednesday, August 23, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM at Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 4136 BROADWAY ST, HOUSTON, TX 77087. A funeral will occur Thursday, August 24, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 4136 BROADWAY ST, HOUSTON, TX 77087. A committal will occur Thursday, August 24, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Home & Forest Park Lawndale, 6900 Lawndale St, Houston, TX 77023.

Le sobreviven su amada esposa durante 56 años, Ana María Chaires; hijo, Jesus Chaires Jr e hija, Ana Arely Chaires y esposo, Arthur; 5 nietos, Irving Ramirez, Olimpia Chaires, Kimberly Ramirez, Kevin Ramirez y Lia Hailey Resendez; 2 bisnietos, Emiliano Levezma y Liam Chaires; hermano, Nazario Chaires y hermana, Vizenta Chaires junto con otros familiares y amigos.

Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, sus 2 hermanos, Victoriano Chaires, Francisco Chaires y hermana, Julia Chaires.

Los servicios funerarios se llevarán a cabo el jueves 24 de agosto de 2023 a las 11:00 a. m. en Funeraria Del Angel Crespo, 4136 Broadway, Houston, Tx 77087 y el entierro seguirá en Forest Park Lawndale. El velorio será el miércoles 23 de agosto de 2023 de 3:00 p. m. a 11:00 p. m. en la funeraria.
