Jesus M Marroquin

He was born on November 9, 1937, in Arcabuz, Tamaulipas, Mexico, to Jesus Marroquin Rios and Maria Cruz Treviño. Jesus met the love of his life, Esther Idolina Hinojosa, at Presa Los Solís, Mexico, and they were married on November 14, 1965, sharing 60 years of marriage.

Jesus worked in carpentry for many years until his retirement, a trade that reflected his strong work ethic and dedication. He was a proud member of the Arcabuz Social Club, where he helped organize social events, dances, and community gatherings to support elderly individuals and give back to the community.

He had a true passion for helping others and was known for his kind heart. Jesus also loved to sing, sharing his joy and spirit with family and friends.

Jesus was preceded in death by his father, Jesus Marroquin Rios; his mother, Maria Cruz Treviño; his sisters, Maria Guadalupe Marroquin and Yolanda Marroquin; and his grandson, Anthony Marroquin.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Esther Hinojosa; his children, Anabel Segovia (spouse Artemio Segovia), Jesse Marroquin (wife Stasia Santos), and Veronica Gonzalez (spouse Alvaro Gonzalez); his six grandchildren, Peter Segovia, Bianca Segovia, Sebastian Segovia, Aaron Marroquin, Alina Gonzalez, and Julian Gonzalez; and his great-grandchildren, Liliana Segovia, Luna Segovia, Annalise Marroquin, and Adonis Marroquin.

Jesus M. Marroquin will be remembered for his generosity, compassion, love for his community, and devotion to his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jesús M. Marroquín, de 88 años, de Houston, Texas, falleció el 27 de diciembre de 2025.

Nació el 9 de noviembre de 1937 en Arcabuz, Tamaulipas, México, hijo de Jesús Marroquín Ríos y María Cruz Treviño. Jesús conoció al amor de su vida, Esther Idolina Hinojosa, en Presa Los Solís, México, y se casaron el 14 de noviembre de 1965, compartiendo 60 años de matrimonio.

Jesús trabajó en carpintería durante muchos años hasta su jubilación, un oficio que reflejaba su gran ética de trabajo y dedicación. Fue un orgulloso miembro del Club Social Arcabuz, donde ayudó a organizar eventos sociales, bailes y reuniones comunitarias para apoyar a las personas mayores y contribuir a la comunidad.

Tenía una verdadera pasión por ayudar a los demás y era conocido por su gran corazón. A Jesús también le encantaba cantar, compartiendo su alegría y espíritu con familiares y amigos.

A Jesús le precedieron en la muerte su padre, Jesús Marroquín Ríos; su madre, María Cruz Treviño; sus hermanas, María Guadalupe Marroquín y Yolanda Marroquín; y su nieto, Anthony Marroquín.

Le sobreviven su amada esposa de 60 años, Esther Hinojosa; sus hijos, Anabel Segovia (esposo Artemio Segovia), Jesse Marroquín (esposa Stasia Santos) y Verónica González (esposo Álvaro González); sus seis nietos, Peter Segovia, Bianca Segovia, Sebastian Segovia, Aaron Marroquín, Alina González y Julian González; y sus bisnietos, Liliana Segovia, Luna Segovia, Annalise Marroquín y Adonis Marroquín.

Jesús M. Marroquín será recordado por su generosidad, compasión, amor por su comunidad y devoción a su familia. Será profundamente extrañado por todos los que lo conocieron y lo amaron.
