Jima Lou Caballero passed early Wednesday morning at Memorial Hermann Hospital, she was 73.
Born in Wannette, Oklahoma, she was a true small-town girl who became a beloved wife and devoted mother. Her modest and kind-hearted demeanor veiled an intelligent, quick-witted, and willfully determined woman. Selfless to a fault, her positive attitude and sense of humor were always available to brighten the day of anyone who knew her. She was an avid reader, devout Catholic with a truly kind soul, and a delightfully terrible cook (with a great sense of humor about it). Her legacy is lives that are touched by her children, grandchildren, and all the future generations to come. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years – Rafael Caballero of Houston TX, sister Judy Cooper of Greenwood AK, six children, twelve grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Epilepsy Foundation of Texas, at www.eftx.org.
