Jimmy Joseph Loup, Sr, 63, passed away Friday, June 20, 2014. He was born in Chicago, IL to Louis and Eva Held Loup. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survived by his companion of 24 years, Soodjai (Ms. Sue)Wilkerson; brothers, Steven and Thomas Loup; his sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy Jr. and Lee Ann Loup, Chris and Tara Loup, his daughter and son-in-law, Matt and Nichole Hauswirth, children and their spouses of Linda Loup; Grandchildren, Lila, Sadie, Mathas, Olivia, Nicholas, and AJ.
Jimmy graduated from the University of Houston while continuing to work in the oil and gas industry, as a Communications Engineer, from which he retired. Jimmy loved golf and wood working, but especially loved spending time with his six grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 from 4p-5p for family and 5p-7p for friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 10 am, all at Forest Park Westheimer Funeral Home, 12800 Westheimer Road, Houston, TX 77077.
