THE SUN DID NOT SET ON THE LIFE OF JOAN HARRELL on March 12, 2024, but rather it shined and danced across the blue sky. The chapter of her earthly life came to a close and her heavenly life began. From the day of her birth on March 24, 1958, to Edward Sr., and Roberta Harrell, Joan was destined to touch and forever alter the lives of everyone she came in contact with.
She was baptized at an early age at Union Evangelistic Missionary Baptist Church and confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior.
She is preceded in death by her son, Demarvia Tavanna Harrell; father, Edward Harrell Sr.; mother, Roberta Harrell; and brother, Edward Harrell Jr.
Joan leaves to cherish her memory her daughter, Lakeisha Harrell; sons, Montreal and Mark Anthony Harrell; sisters, Glennie Swan, Linda Galloway, Kennedy and Mattison Harrell; brothers, Sheppard, James, Byron, Dalvin, Darion, Evan Johnson, Kobe, Joshua Harrell; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She will truly be missed.
